Enough is Enough
Capital First (formerly Capital One owned by Chicago-based Richard J. Klarchek) residents can be heard repeating this phrase. Petitions regarding everything from rent justification of services, management issues, to the landlords lack of follow through of his responsibilities, are being signed by residents in Sterling Estates (Justice), Gem Suburban (Rockford), Whippletree (Wheeling), LaGrange Estates (LaGrange), Sunset (Glenview) and Tri-Star (Bourbannias).
Despite efforts by management in some communities, such as in Justice, to place a statement on their cable channel not to sign petitions, homeowners are coming together to get needed changes in their communities. On July 2, at Justice city hall, Mayor Allen P. VanAllen, along with other local elected officials, and MHOAI met with over 300 homeowners from Sterling. Also attending were local homeowner association board members of other Capital First owned communities.
