Collection of Taxes, HB 1975

MHOAI was shown a report that was sent to State Representatives that said MHOAI was in support of this bill, this is not true. We do agree that homeowners should pay their taxes. However, we did not feel the way the bill was written was in the best interest of homeowners as a whole. and needed changes. MHOAI was able to stop this legislation in the Senate, and is presently working with Senator Christine Radogno, county officials, and other interested parties. We are concerned about the unrealistic time frames, and costs that the original bill had written in it. If you have any questions please call a MHOAI director.
